Thousands of people have taken to the streets – once again – in Syria – to demand that the government loosen its group on the citizenry. And once again, the consequences have been deadly.
Three people are reported dead as the Army moved in to try to squelch the demonstrations.
But in a change in policy, the government, under its escort, allowed international reporters to see the demonstrations first hand.
The United States, meanwhile, is fast losing patience with the Syrian governments foot-dragging toward reform. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton saying the regime of President Bashar al-Assad is running out of time.
